Effective Date: March 2026

Last Updated: March 2026

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of laundry and dry-cleaning services provided by Aroma Laundry (“we,” “us,” or “our”) and the use of our website. By using our services or accessing our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. These Terms are established in compliance with the laws of the State of Qatar, including Law No. 8 of 2008 on Consumer Protection, MOCI Circular No. 1/2018, and applicable commercial regulations.

1. Services

Aroma Laundry provides professional laundry, dry-cleaning, ironing, and garment care services. All services advertised on our website or at our premises are performed directly by Aroma Laundry. If any service is subcontracted to a third-party provider, you will be informed in advance, as required by MOCI regulations.

2. Customer Obligations

  • Customers must inform staff of any special care requirements, stains, existing damage, or delicate nature of garments at the time of drop-off.
  • Customers are advised to remove all personal belongings (cash, keys, documents, jewellery, etc.) from garments before handing them over. Aroma Laundry shall not be liable for loss of items left in pockets or garments.
  • Customers should declare the value of high-value items before service to enable agreed-upon compensation in case of damage.
  • Customers must inspect garments upon collection and report any issues immediately.

3. Pricing and Payment

All service prices are displayed at our premises and/or on our website. Prices are in Qatari Riyals (QAR) and are inclusive of applicable charges unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to update prices, and any changes will be communicated in advance. Payment is due upon collection of garments unless otherwise agreed.

4. Service Invoice

A dated service invoice will be provided for every transaction, detailing the items received, services to be performed, agreed delivery date, and total charges. This invoice serves as the official record of the transaction and is required for compensation claims as per MOCI guidelines.

5. Delivery and Collection

Garments will be ready for collection on the date specified on the service invoice. If delivery services are offered, the delivery timeframe will be communicated at the time of order. Aroma Laundry will make reasonable efforts to meet the agreed delivery date. Delays caused by circumstances beyond our control (such as equipment failure or force majeure events) will be communicated promptly.

6. Garment Storage and Uncollected Items

Garments that are not collected within three (3) months of the service completion date may be disposed of by Aroma Laundry, in accordance with MOCI regulations. Aroma Laundry shall bear no liability for garments left uncollected beyond this period.

7. Liability and Compensation

Aroma Laundry exercises professional care in handling all garments. However, in the event of damage, loss, or colour change:

  • Compensation will be handled in accordance with MOCI Circular No. 1/2018 and the compensation mechanisms outlined in our Refund & Return Policy.
  • Aroma Laundry shall not be liable for damage resulting from inherent defects in the garment, pre-existing wear and tear, incorrect care labelling by the manufacturer, or items that are unsuitable for the requested service.
  • Our total liability for any single item shall not exceed the compensation amounts specified under the MOCI depreciation schedule or 15 times the service fee (if no purchase invoice is provided).

8. Website Use

All content on the Aroma Laundry website, including text, images, logos, and design, is our intellectual property and may not be reproduced without written consent. The website is provided on an “as is” basis. We strive to keep information accurate and up-to-date but do not guarantee the completeness or accuracy of all content at all times.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Qatari law, Aroma Laundry shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services or website. Nothing in these Terms shall exclude or limit liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

10. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute, both parties shall first attempt to resolve the matter amicably. If a resolution cannot be reached, the customer may file a complaint with the Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MOCI) through their official channels. Either party may also seek recourse through the competent courts of the State of Qatar, which shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Qatar.

12. Amendments

Aroma Laundry reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be published on our website. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
